Actor’s Philosophy – Experience – One Year Residency
The space is open to Actors, Performers and Researchers willing to collaborate and support each others’ learning process. Your mentors, guides or resource persons will include both residential artists as well as those joining in online from various parts of the world. Each one a master in their respective fields, and ready to share their knowledge and experiences. Each of the limited number of participants will be guided towards performing as solo artists as well as creating collaborative pieces, while learning how to document their journey through their life as part of the Actor’s Philosophy.
Your original creative work will have the opportunity to tour locally and internationally as a part of the One Year Residency. And while we don’t intend to provide you with a degree in the conventional sense, we will guide you to create your own original Scripts, Productions, a video Interview series that will document your progression, a dedicated Photo Gallery, CV , website and an Actor’s showreel.
Language support
Language is a culture. This course is also inclusive of the space for nourishment through diverse sound/noise patterns, listening to another’s opinion, and respecting another’s thought. Although the course has been structured to flow in the English language, there is freedom to use a vernacular language in writing or acting. Research articles, Journals, Resource packs, Thesis, and Scripts compiled by you must be translated to English and handed over before the deadlines. We look forward to providing maximum support to facilitate the group’s communication, support the writing process, and improve the ability to speak the Language.
